ShortsTV Worldwide Film Festival

In 2021, we held our first ShortsTV Worldwide Film Festival (STVWWFF), a special TV-only event that showcased amazing short films from the regions we operate in and awarded prizes for Best Actor and Actress, Best Director, and Best Picture.
Thousands of short films were submitted by filmmakers throughout the United States, Europe, India, and Latin America. Our regional shortlists were broadcast on our local market channels. From these shortlists, we then selected the best short films to be screened across all our channels globally and considered for our grand prizes.
The final awards were won by these fantastic filmmakers!
- Best Actor: Manuel Salcedo from “Distress”
- Best Actress: Sofia R’Miki from “Children of the Shore”
- Best Director: Mino Rimada for “Road to Mala Noche”
- Best Picture: “Highway Nights” by Shubham Singh
